Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Never been on FACEBOOK,, never wanted to. I march to the beat of my own drummer. Always have, I suspect I always will.

Which is a good thing! :hugs you are great the way you are.

Is this a good time to mention that it's 68* here & that I just drained the tank on the snow blower & put it away?

:th Put it away??? It is March!!!

This seasons first looky-loo walked past 2 no trespassing, private property signs yesterday to stand in my driveway. Unfortunately she wont be the last. I hate to be 'that guy' but humans make me hate this time of year. The Spring breakers will descend any minute, followed by an endless stream of tourists. The older I get, the less tolerant of it I am.

Supposedly attack dog signs are most effective.

Gun range signs are second.

Or... line your driveway with skulls.

You're tempting me to come looky-loo at your place, too! Those pictures are beautiful! They look warm! I love all the color. Even the... white flowers. (I'm kind of tired of white, but those flowers against the red are lovely!)

We're in a blizzard warning all day. It has just started to snow. The wind is whoopin' out there. Fortunately, we had a few days of melting temps, so the old snow isn't going anywhere. It's just the new stuff and the ice that has developed on the roads to deal with.
I have no words.. so.. :barnie:he:rant:th :hugs:hugs:hugs:hugs
I have i have 8 cages/coops housing anywhere from 2-24 birds each :lau ima tryn get you some new ones. I have pics of them under construction n stuff but today would be great cuz its overcast. So Loading... :lau

Sounds about like this house and my propertys elec. The elec wasnt really affected in the flooding but it was so dangerous before the flood that id turn it off at the box if i was leaving for more than a few hrs. I once hired an elec to come investigate the place. the rodents infested in it when i got it had knocked loose wires in abunch of places at joint connections and chewed some of the wire. it also wasnt grounded and some things would hold power n stay on when the breakers were turned off, yikes indeed! plus the power just flat didnt work at all along the front wall and in two of the three bedrooms. Anyway Im glad to hear you know your limits and have a good contractor cuz yes thats exactly The limit leave the box alone :lau

I made beaded jewelry for about 15 years, i had around 12 boxes of dividers w beads of all types and sizes when the flood hit. When i was a teen i would set up tables at the bowling alley i practically lived at and at the flea market on wkends. In my 20s i still made alot of it but didn't set up shop ended up giving it to a friend for her etsy store she sold most of it 3-9$. not nearly as nice as yours! Made just enough to recoup my investment.

Oh more rose pics? Those i have  i dont tell yall about my temps anymore cuz its not cold no more, and i dont wanna gloat(too much:p) im ready to sweat out the summer tho. Weve even had a day in the 90s already this year.

And xs 2 Chicki small prayer to anyone in that systems path its full of destruction:(
Love the rose pics! :love
X2 on the prayers..
Ok, don't kill the messenger, but Spring has sprung. We are having a crazy butterfly explosion this year. I've never seem anything like it, maybe because of the excessive rain we've had his year. I must've killed dozens of them the last few days just driving down the street. I swear there have been hundreds of them that have flown thru my yard today. It looks like they're hatching out of a giant tree in my neighbors yard & flying out in groups of about six followed by another group & another & another... They're tiny & fast & I'm frustrated that I cant get a picture of them. Its crazy!!! They're all flying north & I wonder if Kathy & Orr will eventually see them pass thru.
No butterflies here yet..:(
Lucky. :D
Hate the spouse...

Ticked... clearly I am ticked

Probably just the snow... and that the blasted kids are sick... kid 3 (current eldest child at home) is running a fever and having to shovel a path to the in-law's door. Why? Because my arthritis is too flared up for me to shovel... in-laws are out of town ... coming back today... and spouse who has also been out of town tells me TODAY that we were in charge of in-law snow removal.

:barnie :he
 not cool! :he

Those are beautiful! I hope they aren't throwing your allergies into a frenzy! :fl
I've been fake drinking for years. First thing you do at any party is grab a cup & never set it down. At a bar get a soda or a juice in a short glass with a lime in it. I swear it works.
:lau:gig:lau:gig
I like this one!
X2!

Well, it didn't rain while I was out and about.. few sprinkles but they didnt get me..:D

Awww! :love:love:love

Well, my accident-prone dog did it again. Once again, I have no idea what he did, but he did something. He appears to have torn off part of one of his foot pads on his front foot. He's been leaving a blood trail off and on all day (fortunately, he has kept the blood to the tile floor and not on the carpet). It would stop, then start again. I finally put some cornstarch on it, hoping that will at least stop the bleed. There is no way a bandage will stay on with the amount of water that's on the ground right now. There is literally no dry place to step outside. There is standing water everywhere! So, we'll stop the bleeding and hope for the best. There is no way we'd venture out to a vet today. Our vet is over 30 miles away.

Ouch! poor guy! Been there done that. Can you put vet wrap on it inside & rubber band a sandwich bag on it outside? I'm not stirring up the rubber band on limbs thing again, but just for a couple minutes so he can pee?

Lisa, my allergies aren't great, but they've been worse. Thanks for asking. They were pretty bad last month as far as hives & rashes go. We'll see what happened in the next 6wks before everything turns to dried out dirt again.
