Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Ouch! poor guy! Been there done that. Can you put vet wrap on it inside & rubber band a sandwich bag on it outside? I'm not stirring up the rubber band on limbs thing again, but just for a couple minutes so he can pee?

Lisa, my allergies aren't great, but they've been worse. Thanks for asking. They were pretty bad last month as far as hives & rashes go. We'll see what happened in the next 6wks before everything turns to dried out dirt again.
Not sure how a sandwich bag (or any other type of plastic bag) would hold up on the sharp, crusty ice and snow we have everywhere. Good suggestion, though. He's been in and out all day with us. He feels it's his duty to accompany us when we leave the house for any reason. I dipped his foot in cornstarch, and it seems to have stopped for now.

 Sorry, but I'm positive the kids health is more important than your horrible inlaws. Tell them 'bite me' if they don't like it. :rant

Just for saying that... I now will love you forever! :love

Cuteness overload over here :love

If it stopped bleeding, I am sure it will be fine.

Ok... got to plow to the main road again... before 5 o'clock traffic hits... have to do a k turn on that blasted road with my battle cruiser of a plow truck.

I feel guilty saying this & I'm gonna have to make up for it tomorrow in a big way, but I've done nothing all day. Literally not one thing. The butterflies have been captivating. I've never seen anything like this. We've had some weird infestations over the years, but this has been the best (& the least creepy.)

So while moving back & forth from my window to the driveway all day, my brains had a lot of extra time to spare & I realize I want to build a catio (a cat patio) for my indoor cats. Anybody have one? :pop

My 5 BLRW and 2 CMxAM live here, they free range all day and sleep/eat/lay there getting locked up each night. Eventually the next coop will be compleated. They are already rathering lay in there which is bothersome cuz if i dont find the eggs the critters do each night and its a daily egg hunt. When its done tho, the MaransX layers will be moved in w the Hona theyll all 4 live full time in this coop while the other 5 live in the new one and thatll help keep my Hona hen from getn bred too heavily as well as letn Everyone have a day to free range on rotation. As is while the wyandottes and marans X are aloud to range all day the Hona are hardly ever let out to keep all breeders eggs pure. He wouldnt let me help him plan it so please dont mention the ugly tarp or wood :he the next A frame will be gorgeous(not the next Coop tho mind you)

I threw this together with zip ties tryn to make DH get busy but it backfired and now my most high dollar birds have been in there unsafe for 2 wks :he

My best cage, houses 24 quail currently split into 3 groups of 8. Slightly overcroweded goal is 6 but these birds are so young and have an expiration date so... Recycled from rabbits, it was corroded to the degree the floors had to be rewired, and the frame rebuilt but its shaped up nicely.
