PVC cage houses 12 quail hens very happily, thats a 1 gal waterer in there that quails standing slighty higher than it but they stand about that tall, you see the ones behind the feeders theyre only a lil smaller than the feeder

These are the 40 gal tanks all 60 quail started in One of them! At a wk old i had to put it outside and split em off, each one still houses 6 and theyre happy but i dont wanna clean this much shavings every wk thats why i have the most of em on wire. On top of them in the tub are two "amberlink" chicks i took from TS when i told them they had pasty butt they asked me if i wanted em  i want to seperate 4 from one cage into the PVC bringing its numb to 16 and then 2 into the stage coop to make that one at 16. Theyre each 6 and 7 ft long so while theyre this young and mostly sex segregated theyre fairing ok it wont be long term overcrowded. This way i can clear out one of the tank for the chicks for the next 10 days this is how it is anyway

The stage platform cage i had posted earlier the new pic wont load but like i said before currently 14 live in there. The nest box on the far left is a great dust bath. It was orig built to house a pair of young pullets by its previous owner before chicken math hit while they still didnt understand keeping chickens.

Also excuse the turned over waterers, I wanted to hurry up n snap pics then charge my phone before doing the afternoon feed and waterers. 14 waterers, in the summer, ill need to do them each twice a day.

I feel guilty saying this & I'm gonna have to make up for it tomorrow in a big way, but I've done nothing all day. Literally not one thing. The butterflies have been captivating. I've never seen anything like this. We've had some weird infestations over the years, but this has been the best (& the least creepy.)

So while moving back & forth from my window to the driveway all day, my brains had a lot of extra time to spare & I realize I want to build a catio (a cat patio) for my indoor cats. Anybody have one? :pop
You did something, Room - you appreciated the beauty around you! And you came up with an idea! That's more than I accomplished today.

:love gorgeous birds.

One of my prior customers has some hona’s. She said she’d sell me some eggs, pretty cheap. I might just have to hatch some.
