What does the goat get to do?
We don't usually have a mayor, so nothing, lol. It was done as a fun thing and a fundraiser to build a playground. You could pay a fee to have your pet entered.

Nope, no indoor cats here. Plenty outdoors, though, judging from the tracks.I feel guilty saying this & I'm gonna have to make up for it tomorrow in a big way, but I've done nothing all day. Literally not one thing. The butterflies have been captivating. I've never seen anything like this. We've had some weird infestations over the years, but this has been the best (& the least creepy.)
So while moving back & forth from my window to the driveway all day, my brains had a lot of extra time to spare & I realize I want to build a catio (a cat patio) for my indoor cats. Anybody have one?![]()
Im SO glad its a nice day there!Good Morning, Pond!
What a beautiful day! The sun is shining, and the roads were surprisingly good coming in to school today.
I finally got a good look at Ruger’s paw. He managed to take a v-shaped chunk out of the pad. It looks to be fairly deep. He’s hurting today, poor guy. I did have some prescription pain relief left over from the last time he hurt himself, so I gave him one this morning.
Poor puppers!Good Morning, Pond!

I'm betting you could get some guidance on one of the dog/cat treatment threads. Is part of the pad actually gone, or is it still partially attached?Good Morning, Pond!

Well, we've been having pretty much the same weather as Bobbi except where she was having a horrible blizzard we were still getting rain over the ice. Temps dropped so now we're just ice with a dusting of snow and winds that are making the power go off and on. Oh, and the fog was so bad yesterday I didn't risk trying to get to town which turned out to be a very good thing since there was a 6 car/semi pileup on the highway. 6 cars!!! I can't remember that ever happening that close to us. This time of year, unless there is something really major going on or a big holiday, you don't even see 6 vehicles on the road in a 5 mile stretch. Our county's sheriff's dept. has learned to use FB to get the word out on stuff and to post warrants etc. and they were posting warnings every 15 minutes for folks to not come over the ridge (the place before you suddenly drop down into the ancient glacial lake bed where the only actual town in the county sits) because the entire road was blocked for hours. BUT Good news, no flooding, at least not for us. Poor folks to our south, not so fortunate. Lots of evacuations.
