Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Way ahead of you in that department. :p
Calls have been laying like crazy. You'd think I'd learn to carry out a basket but nope. In the pockets they go.
Then I forget about them as I go about my chores until I hear a CRACK.
Then the other day I had a hole in my jacket pocket I was unaware of and two eggs fell out on the concrete floor of our out building SPLAT.
So muddy here lately that when I dropped one in the Orps' run the other day all it got was dirty

I read that some tribes grew some things for a season before moving on.
I don't know what it is they grew though.
I've read they didn't farm as such.
Squash.... They were big on squash and maybe melons...... South American natives grew maize....I will definitely look it up when I have a minute or ten.

No... That's not the case....I looked it up
Pawnee Indians of Nebraska.... Were Farmers.
And it seems most tribes in the central plains were agricultural ..... Beans... pumpkins... Maize were among their basic crops..... People I think seem to forget native Americans weren't all just sitting in tee pees..... Some had villages and permanent residence.

You all have my brain spinning.... Gonna have to get a book on the history of Native Americans.... The kid I fished with last week.... Tristan in a Indian. Has a card...I asked him why he bought a fishing license then.... He just felt like it.
He was really mad about the way they teach about the Indians at college.
His native American instructor pretty much paints all Whites in a bad way.... He says she teaches hatred.... He also gets crap about his white privilege at the school.... Even though he's not white.
