What happened to the trashcans??

why so many? and different colors? do you have like 5 different trash trucks come by?

After 1wk (minus 2days of rain & 1 day of jury duty) we got the bones of the Catio up. The one cat who's discovered it LOVES it out there. It still needs plants & some other stuff, but at least its functional & DH & I didn't kill each other along the way (tho some days we came closer than others. ) The neighbor is obsessed with it (in a good way) & keeps telling me its too hot for the cat & needs a roof. I keep reminding him that the cat can go inside if he's too hot. I think the neighbor is just excited that he doesn't have to look at my old rusty shed & trashcans anymore.

Sooooo today I got quail. .
It started like this. Yesterday Dad was reading a post on FB and the guy was asking about his quail pen and then one guy was like you can have mine if you want and that guy was too far so dad was like if you wanna get rid of them I’m like 15 minutes away and he said “I’m free tomorrow” and now I have quail. There are 10, 7 hens and 3 Roos. That was a temporary cage while I was building a hutch.

Also, this beautiful doeling was born today too!

Iroquois have been credited for the inspiration to the Constitution... IF the internet becomes reliable there is a very eloquent speach done by an Iroquois Chief... But I am afraid to say more because Historians are still arguing.

But suffice it to say they formed a Fedration of cooperation amongst five tribes... To form trade and peace between each. Each governed in the way they are accustomed yet cooperate with trade defense and peace. Chiefs were chosen by the high ranking Woman in the tribe Not by the Next son in line.... some historians say they had no influence... But I personally disagree. We free traded amongst the first nations in several places in the US.

Unfortunately as the land grab began Germ warfare decimated the tribes. from what i read the total tribes of the Americas were killed off by disease that they had no defence from... which numbered in the millions.

Blue is recycling Green is for tree trimmings and yard waste Grey is for trash... Yep three trucks come by. some are in varius stages of sun bleaching...

Perchie - how are Native Americans doing in recent times? Do they go for vaccinations that would protect them from many illnesses that might have wiped ancestors out? Or do they distrust the government and not have any?
