Two parrots, but at the moment someone is trying to give me a macaw so...lol.

What kind and what age and condition (diseased, malnourished, or great)


What are your other 2? Do I remember correctly, a cockatiel and a conure?

Two cockatiels at the moment, though I've had a sun conure in the past

She's actually in good shape, young, only seven. Apparently she was previously abused by her first owner, and now her second owners don't have time for her any more. At one point she was well trained and would step up and even cuddle with her owner, but she's been a bit neglected so that has lapsed. However, she's not cage bound and is never locked in her cage, so that's good, and they have her on a good diet of pellets and veggies/fruits. She's a blue and gold.

I just don't know if I have the time to commit to her, either. A big bird like that is a huge commitment.

They are huge commitment one that last many years I am not saying Do or Don't
just I know how specail they can be but how tough if in the wrong home

Blue and gold's are pretty levelheaded, which is nice.

But being stuck with the bird for 40 years plus.... crazy big commitment.

Penny I watch the youtube videos with the cursing birds - mostly Cockatoos and would love to have one. We could cuss each other out. But mainly I could call the bus dispatcher and let the bird say whatever it wanted. What a dreamer I am.

They do have pills, supposedly they don't work quite as well, so doctors prefer if you can do the liquid.

Yeah, the water tasted bad... but I couldn't get down more than 1/2 a glass before having a huge impulse to hurl.

The process here is, Dulcolax pills, then Miralax in Gatorade of your choice (as long as it’s not red). Other than not being able to get far from the bathroom, it wasn’t terribly unpleasant.
