Hey, this is nothing compared to what Phil and others deal with. Biggest problem is that if you have to drive there are idiots out on the road. While working I HAD to get to work. I was the manager of a research animal colony. In 25 years there was only 1 time that I couldn't get there, and thankfully my assistant was able to make it in that day. Now I just pace the house and look out the windows.![]()
Gotta keep a bit in reserve for special occasions![]()

It gets a little challenging to feed them when they get big.

Maybe I'm just greedy.
X2!
I was driving through NJ a while back and a snowstorm hit.... Cars were going off the roads by dozens....
But they have 4 wheel drive. Doesn't that mean drive like the hammers of Hades and then slam on the brakes ?
Started with snow, turned to sleet and now back to snow. Neighbor just plowed the driveway - he'll return once storm is finished. I shoveled the front sidewalk, porch, part of the deck and the deck steps. It's heavy stuff because of the period of sleet. Glad that I am still physically able to do this. When I get old, I may have to become your neighbor.
Road has been plowed and accumulation will be less than predicted. We live slightly North of mid state. North of here (where daughter and family live) they are still calling for 24 ".
