Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

We're getting slammed with snow right now, more than they expected. They are now saying we'll get up to three feet. Just what we need. And right when it looked like spring was around the corner, too.

Also, I checked my records, and it looks like Lacie started last year at around the end of March, so I might be jumping the gun on expecting eggs. However her first year she started laying in February, so who knows, lol. I'll just keep my fingers crossed for eggs by the end of the week.

3 more cases of AI, low path, in Northern Alabama... Alabama has now closed all swaps, meets, sales and transport of poultry...

Dan, if you were going to set eggs for selling babies, might want to hold off for a bit...

They're also talking of door to door checks for backyard flocks...

I'm not allowed to set eggs anymore, because there's gonna be 200 chicks to brood for the next couple months. That's why I decided to I'd see if anyone wanted to buy eggs and I'd take orders.
