Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

there were many accidents and fires
60-70 mph windgusts, at least 20 broken poles, miles of downed wires
there are around 8000 people still without power, which is saying something because the 3 towns really affected don have huge populations
the highschool has been set up as a shelter
there are crews flying in from as far away as AZ to help

Oh my...

That's because they are still tied up here fixing poles and wires from last Wednesday's storm.

Glad you are back up, I hope everyone else gets power back soon.

Apologies for interrupting the shenanigans, but wanted to thank y'all for your help with Chrissy last December... Recent bandage change on her leg showed that it's scabbing over fantastically, and doesn't look like it's gonna get infected. I think we're outa the woods here. :D

Honestly, I never thought she'd make it, and I doubt she would have if it weren't for y'all. Very grateful for the help I've received here.

I'm happy for you and Chrissy. She's a lucky duckling to have you. :hugs

Wow, what a mess. Glad yours is back!
