Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Agreed! She really is a very pretty baby! :love Absolutely none of those (endearing) alien features that babies sometimes get the first few days.

I really believe that looking like dad the first week or so, is an age old phenomenon that was essential to human survival. They say that way back in the day the father was known to kill the baby AND the mom if he didn't see any of his features when the child was newly born.

Orr, I'm sorry about your AC! :hit I've cried over all of my girls (some harder than others) & have cried over rehoming the boys too. I'm not AT ALL a weeper over anything else, but those animals get me going everytime. :hugs

Hey Alaskan.... How much snow you got?
Temps?

hottest part of the day right now...we hit 31! whoop..or something.

We decided to actually crank up some heat
..
kid 2 is cleaning up the space heater that warms up the bedrooms... see if it will work for one more year.

.A1 steak sauce.

love that stuff

Well, first the vicious raccoon attack...then I had to put down one of my sweetheart AC girls. I haven't cried over a chicken in a long time. That one broke my heart.

I don't think we can take care of a critter and not be sad when one dies. But yes, some are missed more than others. :hugs

I just got home from fixing DILs sink . Well messing with Oliver a little bit too . I'm tired still have to feed them goats too so better go do it .

Oliver! Hope you gave him a big hug from auntie WV and tadpole. :D

How are those goats doing, by the way??

Thanks! That actually makes some sense! Interesting! My son looked like his dad at first, nothing like my family. But as he aged, he looks so much like my father now, it's uncanny.
