I am not sure what it is either.  Not sure if you read all my previous info on what I have already done.  No gaping, neck stretching or crop adjusting.  I though about gape worm but no gapeing.  Just the funny squeak from some.  I now have 3 who are not being social, kinda puffed up and certainly flemmy sounding.  One of them has been doing the squeaking but the other two have not.  

I am just willing to try anything and it is obvious it is either contagious or something environmental that is affecting them.  I don't think i will go with another round of anti-biotics right now as I just completed one and didn't see any improvement, actually now have more that are acting off than before.  

I have been giving them elctrolytes and vitamen with their water also.

Just bleached the waterers and added fresh water with  ACV only.  I will do the feeder and spray the coop down with some bleach water tomorrow.  That's about all I know to do right now.

I really never saw any 'gaping' with mine either, unless I picked up one of the really overloaded bantams... I have a pic of one, will have to dig it up...

Also, I just did a round of worming in November with the Valbazen and the squeakers where squeaking then as well. Does gapeworm need a different wormer?

regardless, just ordered the Oxine and baytril. Might as well have it on hand. I am getting quite the hodge podge of medications around between the chickens and the camelids.

Using Valbazen, I had to do 3 consecutive days to treat gapes... 5 consecutive days with Safeguard, which I prefer for gapes...

Did it get a little better after that and then restart?

I agree, I don't like throwing a bunch of meds at them just to see what sticks... :/

I do prefer starting with something like dewormer over an antibiotic though...

This girl was severely worm infested...

She literally couldn't pick her head up... barely shuffle walked and dragged her head in front of her through dirt and rocks...

This was 24hrs after her 1st dose of Safeguard...
