So my friend with the lake ducks called me last night and said he thought one of his ducks was a male cuz his other one was knocked up..... :/

I said ducks can't get knocked up. And he didn't have a drake. Although there are a bunch of wild mallards at the lake. (and hanging out with my ducks).

Anyways he explained to me his duck was sitting on a bunch of eggs and he wasn't going near her again......

She's broody and mean..... ......

Well, no call from Sand Hill Maybe next week.

I locked down my goose and calls due for Easter tonight. Two Calls have really small air cells that for some reason did not develop well at all even though all the rest are right on. I'll try misting them a couple times a day but I'm not sure I can get them to the right size before internal pipping needs to occur. We'll see what happens.
