This is like when we gave the blue eggs to the city couple and he wanted to know if they weren't ripe yet . I would tell people at the flea market that yesterday when they would ask why the eggs were blue.

These kids and their parents just came back from a week long 7 game tournament in Georgia, started this tournament on Friday. That's a lot of baseball for 14 year old kids. In addition to being skilled at multiple positions in the field almost every kid is capable of pitching. I told my grandson that this is a once in a lifetime experience to play at this level with this sort of a team. In addition to skill level all the kids and their parents conduct themselves with dignity.

In the game they just played one of the grandparents on the opposing team very vocally kept protesting a call. When the inning ended the ref went up to him and said, "Sir, the play has been called. What you have to say will have no impact on the call, and if you don't quiet down I will ask that you be removed from the facility." All this was said in a quiet but firm voice. Grandpa shut up in a heartbeat.
