Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Feel better, and sleep well. :hugs

Any of your BCM's ever have any white feathers? One of these two of mine has a least one white feather on the left side, possibly in the wing. No idea yet what sex either of them is. They're not quiet enough to pick up, & I don't want to stress them out by trying to catch them in this heat.

Yea, stray white feathers are pretty common I hear. They will molt out as they get adult feathers. I will look in the morning, but I think mine are all gone now, at 16 weeks.

I'll take a double... once it's at least past noon...:lau

The dome :lau:lau:lau

So, the orthopedic Dr. said surgery on Thursday afternoon. There's more damage in there than the ER docs saw.
:(:hugs
Shoot. Hope they can fix you up good.

Really really glad to see her. The bf. . .eh. Could've lived without it but he is obviously here to stay so I gotta get used to it.
Her dad is truck driver so he picked them up and drove them all over the country for 5 days before they got here. They were both pretty jet lagged smelly and hungry when they finally made it to a place close enough we could go pick them up. :sick
Of course they don't have a penny to split betweenst them so we will be providing all their needs for however long they stay.

I don't mind taking care of my own kid but I hope the extra one isn't high maintenance.
And as I am typing this they are already raiding the fridge.
I've feed them twice already and we didn't pick them up till almost noon. :gig

There's more room on the broom than normal... We lost our beautiful, sweet bunny 'Bun' yesterday. :hitI hate to admit it, but I didn't take it well. I cry when all of our animals die, but this one hit me harder than others. She was one of our unexpected pets that sort of found us & moved in, but was quickly beloved by all. I read that a Rex only lives 5-6yrs. We had her for at least 8, but her passing still came as a shock to me. Her giant bunny condo sits by the front door in our livingroom & she was very interactive day & night with the family. Now it sits there like a dark, empty, sad thing. I keep hearing phantom bunny noises that make me forget for a millisecond that shes gone. :(

Someone please distract me I tell me whats been going on here all week.
So sorry you lost your special Bun! I am starting to cuddle my little mini rex babies now, their eyes are open. I must make time to do it because they make much better pets that way.
I am inundated with baby quail. Must stop hatching them! Luckily there is a swap this weekend, maybe i can sell some.
Hubby and i have been working on building a turkey coop and run. Nearly done, just the roof of the run, hardware and security measures left to be done. 20180709_173145.jpg 20180709_173021.jpg
