We’ve tried a lot of different recipes/marinades/spices etc. and have settled on Dale’s being our favorite.

I've never tried that, but I did finally see Magnums (ahem, ice cream bars) in the store. I haven't tried them yet because I never have my specs & cant read the back of the box.

I got the new permanent roof on the emu barn yesterday, woo! Just in time before we start really getting snow. I got slowed down on that after those darn trees fell on it and broke the temp roof. But it's up, and it's really nice in there. Lets in plenty of light, and I propped a piece of plywood up over the opening in such a way that the birds can still walk around and get in there, but it'll keep any snow from blowing in the door.

Now to make sure the emus will walk around the plywood to go in. Well, their food is in there. And also they go through the darn tiny pop door on the chicken coop, so they better be willing to walk around a piece of plywood, lol.

Sized so that my geese just have to duck their heads to get in and don't have to squeeze, but it's really not that big. I think it's something like 18" by 24".
