Well.... no colonoscopy today for me.



No matter how I tried... I could not drink that liquid as fast as needed... like NO WHERE near!!

It made me super nauseous.

The taste wasn't as bad as what everyone had said (not good mind... but easily ignore-able), but if I got too much in my stomach at once.. all I wanted to do was hurl!

Anyway... so I get to reschedule and try again... this time I will try the pills.

They have pills?

They do have pills, supposedly they don't work quite as well, so doctors prefer if you can do the liquid.

Yeah, the water tasted bad... but I couldn't get down more than 1/2 a glass before having a huge impulse to hurl.

Yuck. I had one last year, so I feel for ya. Not fun at all. Luckily, the procedure itself is easier than the preparation.

How many of those? All different ages too?

Yep, all different kinds and ages, which makes it super fun trying to house them all. And of course a bunch of them are roosters that I DO NOT need. I have at the moment a bantam polish cockerel, a sultan cockerel (this one I'm probably keeping as a pet though, I like sultans, if you recall they were on my chicken wishlist, haha), two OEGB cockerels, a bantam EE cockerel, a dutch cockerel, two OEGB pullets, three red sex link pullets, six Easter Egger pullets, four barred rock pullets...I'm probably missing some. And the barred rocks and EEs were sexed, but we know how that goes and I fully expect at least one of them to turn out to be a cockerel on me.

Also I have Wishbone, the one turkey I took home that lived, and the one guinea that I took home that lived, and the male guinea she stole from the neighbor. He will NOT go back home, I think he was the only guinea they had. He heard my female calling and now here he is forever, I guess.

In addition to all those rescues, I've got all my ko shamo growouts for the year, three brahma chicks in the color project I've been working on, six ducklings of various breeds, a gosling, the nine Tomarus, and about a million baby quail.

The guy that does the colonoscopy doesn't live here.... they just come down and visit like for 2 weeks every 2 months... or something like that.

Most of our specialists are like that.

Two parrots, but at the moment someone is trying to give me a macaw so...lol.
