Me too! I can’t keep up without them now. Any time we watch anything that doesn’t have them, it drives me nuts!

But then I would watch nothing!!!

I need the subtitles for English. My hearing isn't that great, and if they talk fast, or have any kind of accent I have zero idea of what has been said.

also, I find it a hoot when the subtitles say "instrumental scary music" because then I KNOW a scary something is about to happen.

I watch things on Netflix, no subtitles unless I watch foreign movies. I used to watch the "Girl who kicked the hornets nest," etc. series, very good but, very brutal.

Al, you crack me up! Whenever DH watches tv with me he gets a kick out of the “leaves crunching, horse nickering, indistinct chatter” parts.

Diva I’m pretty sure you can turn subtitles on for Netflix & prime. I have trouble sleeping & the subtitles make me sleepy, so a win win.
