I'm not looking forward to the cold :/ I've been missing the snow but I'm thankful for the warm. Especially since my AWD is suddenly having issues and needs to go in the shop.

Temps dropping here all day too. I got all my heated waterers sorted out, so every pen will have water instead of ice. Except the pigeons. But their waterers are easy to carry inside and refill. Hate to see my next few electric bills.

Anybody see any issues with this?

I bought a 2-pack of these to try out. They aren’t meant to be used with plastic waters, so I put them inside a little metal Christmas cookie tin, and sat the waterers on top of it.
**Thermo-cube required** These suckers get hot! But otherwise, they seem to be working fine. A little cheaper than new heated waterers too.

We have used our trash burner to heat the house but agree as cold as it has been.. Never seen one of the heaters you talk of

I haven't used those... I have used the de-icers from farm innovators.

These:

These do not run hot, and are safe to run dry, and safe to sit on rubber/plastic.

If you figure out how to make that weather happen, would you please come “do” our weather, too?

I'm sure if I were queen of the weather I'd screw something up... Like - you know, two days of sun followed by two days of rain, on a consistent basis, creates an atmospheric event in the Pacific that brings hurricane force winds to half of the world...
Probably better if I keep my queenly kingdom relegated to the inside of my house!
