FarmerTed's post above is FULL of good info. I have to Emu breeders, who are also good friends close by..and email them alot. I will be trying my hand at hatching some emu eggs starting this week.
They all said the same thing, even IF you have an autoturn device...you NEED to "roll" your egg 180 degrees 3 times a day, but NEVER roll in the same direction a complete 360degrees...always roll 180 one way and then 180 the opposite way the next time. They all said for Emu eggs the "tilting" style of turning devices just do not cut it, and hatch rates are low when using them.
