Well.. Just Got Back From The ER With Hubby...

Wow. Very scary. I am glad everything is alright. Here I am sitting here debating turning on the heat since the temps have dropped to 60's. Wish I could pack it up and send your way. Take care everyone and please heed Redhen's reminder about the heat.

Glad to hear he's ok!! Speaking from experience, it IS scary. Also, once you go down from heat - you have a higher sensitivity to it. I use one of THESE when I have to work out in the heat. You can get them at Dicks, Walmart, K-Mart etc. I got mine from Cabela's, they had the best price at the time.

Keep us informed.........

OMG Red! I would have freaked out too! I'm so glad he's OK and it wasn't anything that he can't get over in a couple of days. It's a good lesson that we all should drink more water. I'm going to get some right now. I only had coffee today and some beer.

Redhen, thank goodness he's ok. Now keep this in mind - he is susceptible now to heat stroke. He has to be extra careful. My mother is, and so is my brother. My mother used to keep salt pills, little pink things, in the cupboard, and take them whenever she had to work outside when it was hot. That and lots of water and herbal tea. I worry about my husband all the time over this, because he just won't quit when something needs doing, and I have to really get sharp with him when he's obviously had enough but just doesn't realize it!

Glad he's OK!

When you are passing out those frozen veggies & fruits to your birds remember him too.

I am so glad he is ok. I had heat stroke about 6 or 7 years ago and ever since I don't tolerate the heat nearly as well as I used to.

Tipsy.... You crack me up!

Thanks for the well wishes everyone! Yeah..it was very very scary for me... My world would have been destroyed if anything bad had happend to him.
I'm thankful that this was just a scare and a warning to be more careful in the future.

Me & My peeps: Thanks for the link! I'll show it to him...
How was the first day of work today? I hope YOU worked inside??

Thanks again, everyone.

LOL.. i was thinking that...
Yesterday i was all stressed worrying about my critters in this heat.... little did i know i needed to worry about my 2 legged critter too!

And ooh yes! We WILL be taking a CPR course soon. My job does it for free every once in a while... I'll ask them when the next one is. And we will be going for sure!

I'm very happy he is okay. My carpenter came today to work on my run and only stayed an hour before having to leave. Even though I was whipping him prior to get moving, I didn't harass him today, I knew it was too hot. Listening to your story I'm glad I let him leave without complaint; I would have been horrified if something had happened to him.
