Well, in all reality the house wasn't truly worth what my last appraisel was.
I'm not one to cried over spilled milk. I do cry over losing a chicken though.

The floor at the exchange was empty. They knew it would pass. Plus it's friday.
We'll watch for the fun next week.

Remember though, the stock market is pretty much a big roulette wheel. What happens
on Wall Street is completely different than Main Street. We can have a strong economy
and weak stock market and vice versa.

Another good video.

Why can't Democrats step up and say their leaders failed them?

I've voted for Republicans WHO HAVE FAILED US MISERABLY!!! I don't like it but it's
true.

Oh for the record, I DID NOT VOTE IN 2000. I HATED GORE BUT LOVED LEIBERMAN.
BUSH WAS COMPLETELY UNIMPRESSIVE TO ME. I believe voting is a right, not an
obligation. I'm not going to vote just to vote or because I'm part of a certain party.

I watched most of it too (I had to work but it was on TV at the bar...I am a bartender...and in that job I get to listen...that in it self can be quite interesting). That is when it really frustrated me not to at least "humor" the lower income families by mentioning them. I wanted to say, "Come on....at least pretend you care!".

I vote...I read the papers every day (not that they are not biased also)...I research on the net.....I went to college.....I stopped short of my BA (Psychology)...but I do not believe that makes me 100% uneducated. I chose a simpler life. A more natural one. One I want my children to understand. We survived as humans for a long time with out all this "razzle-dazzle" around us.

chickiebaby you said bush stole 700 billion from us? Was I daydreaming when I saw both the house and senate who democrat vote it through to him? Seriously this is fault to both parties not just bush and republicans. Try and open your eyes alittle more from closed and try to see the whole picture.

It sure is Brandon. It goes much higher than Bush. Oh! Did I say higher??? Yep I did! The Congress is large and in charge here. They are the ones who have ultimately failed our economy. Who is largely in control of the Congress? That's right, the Democrats. They are the ones who have failed our economy and us. Argue those facts all you want, but in the end, they still remain true.

I've appologized to my kids already. Our generation has really made a mess that they will have to deal with for years to come. I'm not real savvy were politics are concerned, makes me confused and disgusted but something needs to change. My great grandfather started a small lumber and hardware company in the 30's. My family has worked hard all these years to get where they are. My grandparents sent 4 grandkids through college and have trust funds set up for 8 great grandkids, that includes my kids. Guess where the money is for the kids? Invested in stocks and whatnot. DH and I have never worried about money to send our kids to college but our son is only in the 8th grade. What will his fund look like in 5 years? And my 2 kids are the oldest. My daughter is using hers now. My DH and I suffered the loss of a business and bankruptcy a few years ago, no one baled us out. We've had to pick up the pieces and start over, don't hear us whining do you? Life is sometimes hard, you have to take responsibility for your actions. Washington will never learn. I don't even know if I'll vote. Never for Obama but I worry about Mccain and his abilities.
