Grabbed my rifle, and went to the coop... Found a horrible chicken massacre ... I think we have 7 confirmed dead, about 18 missing, and 9 injured chickens. :angry: saw 2 large dogs that I had seen about 4 months ago was gonna shoot, the darn rifle jammed on me!!!
I am sooooo upset right now. Had egg orders that I'm gonna have to cancel since I dont know if I'll get the eggs.
well, was cleaning out the brooder when i heard the roosters making one heck of a ruckes(sp?)... went to dump the shavings in the compost pile and here come 2 dogs running out of he woods,one holding a rooter by the wing... i run back inside and grab the aforementioned rifle, aim and shoot it right berhind the shoulder... then once more in the head... shot and chased the other one but to no avail... so long and the short of it, goodish day for me and bad bad day for the dog...
