Welsummer or brown leghorn?

Brown Leghorn. She's most definitely NOT a welsummer. I was going to post a pic of a welsummer for you, but Ewesheep beat me to it!

Oh she's pretty! I don't mind having a leghorn, but I don't heat my coop and don't want to deal with a huge comb. Hopefully it will stay fairly small like yours. This is, however, ruining my pretty egg basket plan. Oh well, guess that means I need another chook

I had a Wellie last year and she was also very thin and light but she was a pullet, so I wasn't sure when they started to fluff out a bit.

Yeah, tell me about the egg-basket plan being ruined! When I figured out my "Ameraucana" was a leghorn, I bought two EE"s, both of them turned out to be roos. Now I've got an Olive egger and another "Ameraucana" that is an EE who at least has slate legs, but coloring looks like a Partridge rock chick. I better get some blue or green eggs somehow!! I'm learning as I go......

I realize at 3-weeks it's hard to say, but here's one of my girls. She's starting to get the salmon coloring on her chest..

Although my mystery pack from MPC was supposed to be all female...this one is looking a little roo-ish. That comb is bigger than the rest and the chest feathers are coming in fairly dark...
