I'm pretty much in the same boat though... I'm going to wait maybe 25 days? I read somewhere that was a good number... I'd like to give them a chance..

I'm another one with one lonely chick. I'm on day 22.
We took three of the remaining eggs away because momma was having a hard time maintaining the eggs and the baby under her in the nursery. We cracked them open, one was infertile whivh I was pretty sure of after candling, the other two had signs of life but nothing that was ready to hatch. She's got two eggs left & a beautiful baby

i have 2 BBS orphs and 1 buff orph. don't see anymore pips, but i guess i will wait till day 25 too Lux. one has spradle leg

I was lucky enough to have all 7 of my chicks hatch on their own, with no assistance from me, no unabsorbed yolks or any other obvious problems. All 7 seem to be doing fine so far. Here is a quick group shot of them in the brooder. I'll take some individual shots tomorrow so we can play "who's your daddy"

Actually, 3 of them are feather-legged, so it's pretty obvious my Cochin boys are their daddies.

Congrats to everyone on their new babies.
