I'm so excited!!! I am a bit worried about the 2 I set on the 12th....I didn't turn them for a few days while my chicks were hatching and they're stuck to the side of the egg....Think they'll be okay???
I have 42 eggs in one bator, due to hatch on July 9. And last night I started my other bator with 19 eggs. I have some more coming in the mail that should arrive today that I will add. I would have waited with the 19, but I was afraid that their viability would decrease since I got them several days ago in the mail. I am hoping that 25% (is that too optimistic?) hatch. I've never hatched mail order eggs before. They are Americaunas, Marans, and blue laced Wyandottes, and nine white leghorns for luck.

I bet there may be more of a market than you think. I mean, you have chickens, right? So I'm sure others do too, or maybe you could start educating people on the reason for backyard chickens and offer to hatch them for them

Such a relief....I have a hard enough time remembering to turn them!!! So what humidity did you keep yours at for both incubation and hatching??? And since I have a slightly staggered hatch is the humidity gonna be a problem???
LOL, so who's gonna hatch with me (again)?
I have another post for my July 7th hatch....We could all hatch together again...lol
