We're all hatchin'! Congrats, everyone!

Just don't give up, Lux!!!! We're all rootin' for ya!!! My sis took a vid while the second one was hatching, and it's kinda funny cause you can see the ends of the skewers working on the small egg at the same time

Now we're taking bets to see which one hatches next....the humidity is so high that the glass is fogged, I can't take any pics right now (I know, so frustrating....I hate hatching threads without pics!) but until the rest of them get out and I remove the dried chicks (dried chicks...sounds like some kind of trail mix ingredient) I can't take any pics...

So where is everyone else at??? A lot can change in a few minutes, I want updates!!!

P.S. Sorry if I'm a little loopy....

My incubator is made with the plexi glass window in front, not on top... I can see most of the eggs, but there are certain backs of them I just can't see......... however, I have air holes on the top, and I thought MAYBE i could see different angles of the eggs through the air holes..... and I CAN, AND ONE ALL THE WAY IN THE BACK HAS A PIP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whoo-hoo congrats Lux and Chickenlittle on your pips!!

See, you're not going to be left out after all.

I won't either since I now have 2 chicks out and flopping around the bator.

The first one out is a strawberry blond color and looks to have a Cochin daddy. The other is black but looks to have a Wyandotte comb, so probably an SLW mommy. There are at least 2 more pipped out of the 5 left.

Far as I can tell the yolks are absorbed and they will hopefully survive. Will posts pics in a bit.

Yay! Glad to hear it! Mine were started early on the 30th. Out of the 12 that were still developing for me on the 10th day, 10 hatched. I have the other 2 waiting in the 'bator but I think they may be quitters.

for all of the new pips!!!
I've got one baby completely hatched under momma & another egg thats peeping but no pip, I sure hope it hurries up!

Congratulations Lux! and everyone!

I was so scared since this was my first hatch and I was almost certain I had killed all the little silky eggs early on, due to temp fluctuations, that I didn't even want to post when i found this thread... but this morning we have 1 hatched and 2 pipped (out of 12). Around 2am I thought I heard my first peep... although now that i look at the egg the air sac looks unpunctured... it just came right through the side wall on the bottom.... ????? is this highly unusual?

I also put my eggs in on the 31st... can't remember the time though....
