What’s changing my Lav Orp roo??

I’m sorry but I’m not familiar with BOSS; can you explain it for me?
Black oil sunflower seeds.. it MIGHT be a better (more nutritious, higher energy) choice than corn, but please use YOUR best judgement! (I haven't used it and don't live in a cold climate, just obsess some about chicken health and nutrition and try to know my options.)

This link shows BOSS as being 14% protein, 25% fat, and 30% fiber (carbohydrates).. (slight differences across crops or brands is not uncommon)

While I did suggest scrambled eggs for a bird under the weather as easily digestible and very palatable.. and I DO feed back eggs on occasion as a treat.. I want to caution that by energy (aka calorie content not weight or volume).. fresh eggs are 34% protein and 64% fat with half that protein and a good portion of the nutrient being inside the yolk. (and of course I'm not talking about "daily" recommended allowance" percentages for humans.. but I think you already know that!)

How's Peep doing now? Some changes can usually be expected.. either quieter or louder than usual. Thankfully chickens usually adjust quickly. Hopefully he can make you laugh for years to come!
