Could she have water belly?
Yes she is swollen around her Abdomen area, there are barely any feathers there and it’s kind of orange colored. And I don’t know if we have any calcium gluconate if we do I don’t know where it isIs she swollen and how does her belly feel squishy/hard? when one is egg bound they usually lay around or stick to their nest they will pump their tail up and down and their vent will pulse like they are trying hard to lay. Do you have any Calcium Gluconate? when one is suspected of being egg-bound the Cal glu is the best to get the egg moving.
I will see about getting it. No a vet is not an option for me.Everyone who has egg layers should have this product.
Is a vet an option?
Do you know where I can buy it? TSC?I'd get the Calcium Gluconate asap just in case it's an egg. you'll need to give her 1 ml by mouth it can be put over a small amount of treat or you can use a small 1 ml syringe[no needle] and give it to her that way. We have instructions on giving it by syringe just let me know.
