I am very respectful of any celebrity that uses their name for the better good of a community no matter where it is. I love that he is doing this, and if I were there, I would SOOO be there volunteering.

We have a restaurant like that here that has been open for years now. There are a lot of white collar people working downtown that eat there and pay extra for lunch to help cover costs. They say it is still cheaper than the high end restaurants and the food is great.

You do know LOTS of butthead people will take advantage of this, right?
Sadly, i dont think it will last because of that... maybe it will though, because of the awesome volunteers...
I'll be interested to see what becomes of it.... it will be a blessing for SO many good, honest people...
I just hope the creepo's dont ruin it for others,as they usually do...

ETA! Just saw that folks have to volunteer an hour of their time to get a meal..... OKAY... that IS awesome! Love the idea!!

Could be..ya never know... but i know they'll have to work an hour though for their meal... and you KNOW they aint doing THAT...
