Here are a few of my favorite chicks. They are 4 weeks old.

Looks a lot like an Easter Egger. Pea comb, olive legs. Where did you get your chickens?

Easter Eggers are a variety/mix of the Aracuana breed. They lay greenish eggs and are very sweet birds.
 
Two weeks before Mother's Day DH found an ad in the Classified page. The lady was selling chicks for $1 each. She set the eggs so they would be hatching on Friday evenings/Saturday mornings. She put his name on the list and just happened to call us on the Saturday morning of Mother's Day to ask if we were still interested. She got the eggs from someone else (apparently without an incubator or any broody hens) with the agreement that they got back the first 100 to hatch and she could do with the rest as she pleased. She said she does it this way every spring to add to her flock and make a few dollars.
