What are you canning now?

I have apples and jalapenos cooking for the jam. Oh my, never had it, but sounds yummy!!

My tomatos were a bust this year. Planted too dang many cherry and plum tomatos! No idea how that happened. Anyway, I have one lone roma I'm holding out hope for. It has lots on it, if only they'll ripen before frost comes.

I wanna make that Christmas Salsa soooo bad!!!

I just finished apple/jalapeño jam. this is going to be awesome over a pork roast this winter! I usually mix marmalade and horseradish so this will be a nice change.

I started keeping a running tally (spreadsheet) of everything I make and will continue to every year-so I can see what I made vs. what I either had too much of or didn't have enough of.

I've been keeping a tally since 2005. I have them taped inside my pantry door. My grandmother started asking what I did and how many,, which inspired me to keep track. My neighbors keep giving me tomatoes and like I said, I hate to see anything go to waste. It is not waste if it goes to the chicken, right?

I do see some reg. mouth jars. They don't come out unless you smack the jar and break it cleanly in two.

yep, I had to use some reg. mouth jars. No problem, dh ate one out of the jar for his dessert tonight after supper. He can't stop raving about them.
 
I did a triple batch of the apple/jalapeno jam today! YUMMY!

Hubby just came home with two boxes of wide mouth pints so I can try the breads in a jar. They sound divine! Even more so when I'm having a bad fibro day and not feeling like baking... just pop the top, and eat away!
