blue berries and cranberries make a nice cranberry sauce. cranblueberry sauce. blue cranberry sauce, nah. that sounds like it turned, I'd stick with the cranblueberry.
Blue berries also make the most fabulous wine. It is always the first to go.

Oh torture!

I have a waiting list for blueberry, blackberry and strawberry banana jams.... Oh, I would be rich this month if I could just deliver those. I even used up all my freezer stock!

I've got cherries and wild black raspberries in the freezer awaiting the same fate. Actually I think I'll reserve the black raspberries for pies and just stick with cherry jam for now. It's the last of the raspberries until this summer though.

If you have a gallon jar or bottle you can make blueberry wine. There is a wonderful book by Terry Garey called 'The joy of home wine making' that gives you recipes for any kind of fruit wine-and vegetable wine you can imagine (skip the beet wine

-or I did not do it correctly.

I just got my book out, and that's the most used page. If you would like the recipe I will type it out for you. There are a few things that you would need that you can't pick up at other places than a wine supply catalog but they ship quickly.
Beware, it is a hobby that starts small then eats up all the all of you storage space.
the Montrachet yeast would need to be ordered.
Northern brewer has a site online, as does E.C.Kraus
but as long as you are ordering, every book store should have her book, even the library.
She has the easy first timer first gallon recipe and then the more elaborate.
Let me know after you look at the wine sites if you want the recipe. or, it may even be on line somewhere by now.

I don't know about black raspberries, but I made Peach Melba jam this year with my heritage raspberries and it's one of the best jams I've ever had. I have some more raspberries in the freezer awaiting my peach harvest this year.
