Yup it's most certainly apple time! Would certainly go for that recipe for Apple/Cranberry Jam, I luv both!? Instead of just sauce I was going to try canning some apple pie filling (recipe is from All Recipes.com ) but can't decide if I wan't to buy more quart jars for it!? Either way better get peeling promised the DH a apple/cranberry pie tonight

Just bought a pressure canner and really not sure can you can pumpkin in it?
Can anyone tell me about processing a compote? I want to store it longer than a week and most recipes just say, "stores for a week in refridgerator". I'm going to process it in a water bath for 15 -20 min. If I find out that isn't ok I'll just have to give it away or eat it.
It's very good, but you really don't taste the apple - the cranberry just takes over. It's more of a chunky preserve. If I make it again, I might mess with the proportions and do more apple, less cranberry.
Its been so busy here, and I'm sick again. Life is just not fair to me! I'm starting to think its stress related, its been so bad this year. I've been sick 4 times since July. Hubby says its been like 9 times since last Christmas... not sure if its that much, but it feels like it.
Anyways, got contacted this morning from a local business they want me to call or come in, they want to set up a Jam class with me to get people in there! How exciting! I have to think of a way to get it across that its worth the cost.
