I have one and I love it once you use it you will not
know how you lived without it. Takes very few minutes mix in the mixer and then take the dough and roll out your sheets then to the cutter cut noodles .
I dry mine on a rack or cook right away.
I bought mine through a restraunt supply store. Cheapest Ive found but will last a life time and resell value is hard to beat.

Is this the one that attaches to the Kitchen Aid mixer? I want to buy one for DW but want to get the right one. I like to get the best and one that's easy to clean. How do you clean yours?

Yes this attaches to the mixer it comes with a small brush to clean it with. I wipe mine off with a towel but its not hard to clean. its only dry flour to clean off.
I will try to find where I got mine.

How many of you got some of Lowes' canning supplies???

I got the Ball Enamelware water bath canner kit for $12
some Flex Batch Ball Dill Pickle Mix for $0.90 a container
a mini waterbath basket with 3 pint jars for $2.27
and a heavy duty jar lifter that is Ball brand for $2.04

My lowes didn't have any jars or lids left, but I have heard that many of them have them marked down really really really cheap - some lids as low as $0.19 a box!

Hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!!!

Lord have mercy, what is wrong with my jelly.

It seems to set fine before I process it but afterward it doesn't look good. The Pomegranate set fine on the counter. ( the leftover stuff to little to put in a jar.) However the processed stuff doesn't look solid enough. I followed the recipe.

The cranberry didn't call for any Sure Gel but I used a pack anyhow and it's still not set good.

I process them for 10 min. What am I doing wrong. Should I use more Sure Gel.

Thanks for the advice,

Rancher

I just canned enough french onion soup for everyone on my Christmas list. Very nice gift if you take the time to custom make tags that suggest adding asiago and croutons, and SO cheap! All you need are onions (so cheap at the farmer's market!) and beef boillion (I used vegetarian) and voila! Beautiful, well appreciated gift. You just can't get good french onion soup at the grocery store so most people really appreciate it.

Do you water bath it or pressure? Id like to try this.

HOLY $#&^$ I got a 20lb box of fruit for Christmas. 90% of it is citrus. I have a feeling I'm going to attempt marmalade again. I failed the last time so didn't want to spend that much trying again. Looks like I can do it now anyways.

Anyone have any advice?

Last time it was was just oranges and sugar and sloooooooooooooooooooooooooow long cooking. No pectin, should be PLENTY in the fruit.
