What are you canning now?

Keep us posted on those.
I feel so guilty tossing the metal ones, but feel like such and idiot if I reuse them and ruin a jar of hard work.
I need a big ol' pill of apathy and I think life would get much easier.

I just stumbled across a 'triple fruit marmalade' recipe. I was looking up things to do in a pressure cooker. Last year I did a marmalade and I must have used the wrong type of pot and it tasted really molassesey. I tried to do some more mandarin marmalade last week and I just couldn't get it to set after hours and hours on the stove. Ended up with a ton of
syrup that wasn't really good!

I got a pressure cooker for Christmas! I'm pretty excited about it!!

How and for how long do you process the french onion soup!?that's the first thing I want to pressure cook but I don't know how long to can. Apologies for any typo's. I'm using my phone..

I love my Tattler lids. I still use metal ones but only for the stuff I intend to give away as gifts all of the stuff I can for our personal use get Tattlers. Ive never had one fail and the worst thing I can say about them is that turmeric in one recipe I did stained the lids yellow. Turmeric is powerful stuff that can stain just about anything. After the stained lids were run thru the dishwasher they lightened alot but are still faintly yellow. They are one of the best purchases I ever made.
