What are you canning now?

I was very happy to see this thread! I am new to chickens this year but also to canning.....24 pints of blackraspberry jam! I still have a ton more berries to do. I am also going to make the chow chow, never heard of it before and hubby will like it!

Just put 25 pints of freezer jam up this past weekend (strawberry and peach).

We also made pickles, salsa, and put 10 dozen ears of corn and 2 bushels of green beans in the freezer.
 
We do freezer jam, too. Once we hit on this, would never go back to putting it on the shelf. We did our raspberry and will do our strawberry today. We usually do blackberry, huckleberry and a few apricot for cooking. Yum yum.
 
A few days ago i did a few quarts of dilly beans given them a few weeks to get the flavor before we start eatting em. In the coming weeks ill be canning some tomatoes and salsa and a few quarts of jalapenos and cherry hot peppers.

hows the weather out there on the west coast? Beautiful out here in northern ny.Just wish we could get rid of this late blight on the tomatoes and potatoes. Then id have some tomatoes to can. Just a horrible thing.
