O.K. for those who would like to know about these beans.....here is what I used. You will have to add until the taste is right for you

Navy Beans (3/4 cooked)
Tomatoes (fresh seeded is what I used) (also i cooked this down a lot while adding the other ingredients)
Brown Sugar
Granulated Sugar
Onions (diced fine)
Red Bell Peppers (diced Fine)
Vinegar ( I used 1/4 c. total)
Hickory Smoke BBQ Sauce
Seasoning Salt
Bacon (diced and also add fat from bacon)

Mix all ingredients (except beans) and cook for about an hour or so (until it is puree consistency) and then add the beans (a little at a time) this way you want have more beans than sauce or more sauce than beans. Since the beans were almost cooked, I processed them for 40 minutes in the pressure canner.

Enjoy

How many pounds of pressure do you use?

Ozark Hen, it's grapes for me tomorrow. I plan to make grape jam. I use the Ball Low/No sugar pectin.

The pasta sauce is done. I finished the Hot Salsa. I have cherry tomatoes in the dehydrator. I'll start the other in the morning with the yellow pear tomatoes.

Grape juice......anyone make the recipe using 1 cup grapes with 1/2 cup sugar, boiling water to fill jar and process in the BWB?
Are these the measurements you use?

I thought beans were done, but we ended up doing another 7 quart of beans. I counted them last night, those three bushels of peaches yielded 56 quarts. Saturday we did 7 quarts of whole tomatoes. Our tomatoes are just getting started. We also still have 1 1/2 bushels of apples to do(applesauce).

Summer's Bounty is so great!
