Sonew, they are very similar to tomatoes, only difference is you need 2 so they pollinate. I had a small garden so only put one plant in, and was upset that it flowered like mad but I got no tomatillos off of it. Googled it and that was my problem, I only had one! Ripped it out and haven't planted them since. I will when I have more garden space though!
 
Just got my pears put up. I kow it's late but they are hard to find around here so we got some while on vacation. I like to can the old hard sand pears. They stay a little crisp if you don't overcook 'em. Can't wait to get our own trees. we did 2 dozen pints , half in apple juice. That seems to add a whole nother level of flavor. ...........stan

I have laundry to finish, dishes, orders to fill and some yoga to do w/ the DD. However, I hope I have time to get the canning done I was planning on. I really need to FINISH this canning I thought I was done with. I never can get ahead around here.
