I have had my Vitamix for over 30 years, it is the old all Stainless Steel version. I LOVE IT!! I don't know what I would do without it. I hope this one never breaks, cuz I don't think I can afford a new one.

They are less at Costco. But, if I had to replace mine I coudn't afford to now. The Vitamix is more than just a blender.
It liquifies, any fruit or vegetable, it isn't a blender, but you can use it as one. You can freeze fruits and make your own sorbet.
It grinds wheat, you add some yeast and liquids, it kneads the dough, and in about 5 min or less. You put dump the dough from the Vitamix into the bread pan let it rise, bake it. Then you have freshly ground wheat or any other grain bread.
It makes nut butters, makes smooth as silk creamed soups.
I use it for making my goat cheeses. It makes the cheese smooth and light like a cream cheese.
It makes a thick juice out of any fruits and vegetables, no peeling or taking out seeds. You get all the fiber plus the juice. I add ice cubes to make it thinner. There isn't a blender on the market that can do what the Vitamix does.
We got ours at Costco it was 375.00. I thought that was a pretty good price considering Vitamix's website offers the reconditioned one for the same price as the new one at Costco. We made smoothies this morning, I can't wait for canning season for jams and such.
, really needs one of those!!! It would save so much time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you were canning pizza sauce, you wouldn't have to boil/peel the tomatoes, right? And rasberry jelly... no more straining out the seeds, right?
Just saw a Vitamix sell today at an auction for $10... Thought about buying it, it was still new in the box, but I really don't have the space for it. Also at the same auction I bought 5 dozen quart mason jars, 4 gallon jars, and a box of misc kitchen utensils all for $7...
