A few months ago i read a travelogue by Steinbeck from the 1950s. I enjoyed it and I'm sure you guys over the pond would. Can't recall the titleThat sounds good, Liz. I'm going to get it on my Nook.
I read 2 great books by John Steinbeck: Grapes of Wrath & East of Eden. I'd highly recommend both. I enjoy stories that are set in the early 1900's. His style of writing is very comfortable to me and Steinbeck is just enough descriptive. These authors that go on for pages to describe one setting drive me nuts!
