What two breeds make a Speckled Sussex? I wonder/think a lot!

Only two speckled Sussex can create more speckled Sussex.

What I don't understand is;
At some point, two breeds did make a new breed.
Right? And like @BantyChooks said;
"Their original bloodlines were sports from the NH/BR cross, but you cannot cross those two breeds and have a Delaware."
I must be thinking about the bloodlines then.

actually, I have a lot to learn!

Bloodlines would be correct, yes. The title of the thread and the content of the first post sounded like you were talking about hybrids, so I responded as such.
