Thanks all . I wil be gutted if its a male as ive had him since day one . He is very tame and loves sitting on my knee for strokes and cuddles . No crowing yet which is why I'm asking . We thought he was male but was hoping he wasnt !

The photo is a little difficult to see clearly. If that patch of darker feathers on the back near the tail is shinny and pointed, then they are saddle feathers. Saddle feathers are a male characteristic only. I don't see anything else that is positively a rooster trait. The bird appears to be a hybrid. Hybrid pullets mature very quickly, and can have large combs/wattles.
