Oh sweet. So they dont eat each other alive because there are no ladies to impress? We free range so I dont know how we would do 2 separate coops.

I free ranged mine on alternating days. One day the roos would go out, then the next day the mixed flock, etc.

There's the occasional scuffle (but there always is, whether it's roosters or hens). It's almost the same thing, except this flock is your alarm clock instead of your breakfast makers. XD
