I'm positive these are delawares. They have barred columbian hackles (distinctive of a delaware) and faint barring on the wings. An Ideal 236 or other white leghorn hybrid shouldn't have those marks.I now think they’re ideal 236. Leghorn barred rock mix. I will wait and see.
They could be a different breed. You’ll know for sure once they’re older (12+ weeks). Though I’m certain they’re not broilers. The only similarity I can see between them and broilers are that they’re white.A couple are all white. The roo is all white too. Can they still be delawares? I hope you're right!
Yes they could all be Delawares. Many don't show darker markings until they are older. I have some from a heritage breeder that are almost all white except a few spots on the neck.
