I have had EEs for years and have only ever had one go broody. And she was only 11 months old and didnt end up being commited to setting on the eggs, she lost intrest in about 3 days. In my experience EEs rarely go broody.Yeah, might be. I think I've read that silkies go broody and if i remember correctly ee's rarely do. But idk.
Cool, I just buy my incubators from rural king.Thanks for the info! I'm thinking about making an incubator when my other chickens (three months old right now) start laying and if i can get it to hold temp and humidity right I'll hatch some.
