Hello! My name is Christina and last year around this time, Los Angeles had a huge downpour of rain for a log time, and a chicken showed up on our neighbors doorstep. He knew we had chickens, so we took her on. (We believed that she belonged to the neighbors, but we didn't ask because she was showing signs of being abused
, like if we threw some food she would run away thinking we were throwing it at her, and one time i kicked the dirt and she screamed and ran, and she was awfully skinny but her feathers were nice and she was clean so we think she had just escaped...) So anyways we named her Beowulf (a.k.a. Beo) and we've loved her ever since. But, the thing is as her being a rescue, we don't know her breed, but we do know that she is under two years old. So here I am asking what breed she is. She is small, with a grayish feet and legs. Her black feathers are iridescent, shifting purple and green. Her eggs are also pretty small and cream colored. Thank you!
(Also by the way in many of the photo's she is going through her first molt, so thats why she looks so scraggly lol!)
