Hi all, got given this little hen, Sally, after she was the lone survivor of a fox attack that took out her whole flock. Would love to know what she might be, mostly just put of curiosity as her previous owner had no idea!
I had thought maybe a leghorn but she lays beautiful chocolate speckled eggs almost identical to my Marans which has thrown me. She is also quite a bit smaller and scrawnier then she looks in the pics and is smaller and sweeter then leghorns I’ve had in the past. She has yellow legs and no feathers on her feet, and is missing part of her comb due to the fox attack. She’s friendly and is happy to eat out of my hand but super timid and flighty (which is how she survived the attack as she managed to wriggle out of the foxes grip and fly over the fence 🥺)

Thanks!!

White Rock is my guess

Rhode island white or white rock
Her eggs are super dark though which is what is throwing me haha do either lay dark eggs? I have a those island red whose eggs are the light brown in this pic, and Sallys eggs are the dark to show how dark they are. Her eggs are almost the exact colour of my marans but hers are also speckled

Might be a dominant white mix, which means it can be a mix of almost “any” breed with straight comb and without feathered feet.

I have a hen who look a bit the same as yours. She is 75% black copper marans, but 6,25% some dominant white breed (and some silverudds and Brahma). The dominant white is definitely hiding her BCM traits. She looks nothing like a BCM 😅
Here is pictures of her (the first two pictures), and of her mother (50% marans):
