I don’t think she’s a silkie mix judging by her single comb, a cream legate mix is still most likely.
Not to be argumentative, but I have had silkies with single combs.

If she is an olive egger, that is what color eggs she will lay. There may be some slight variation in how light or dark her eggs are through a laying season, with her darkest eggs coming in the spring when she first starts to lay each year, and gradually getting lighter until she goes into molt in the fall and stops laying for the winter. But she is never going to lay a pink egg or a green or blue egg.We were told she is an olive egger but has the chance to lay colourful eggs sometimes
Her name is Bonnie, and her Australorp sister is Marcie ( or Marceline the chicken queen ) both named after the cartoon adventure time haha
Oh awesome, she does have features of both those breeds! So I think I figured out what she may be … she’s half pendenseca, she has the exact feather coloring and dark legs. They lay a dark drown eggs. And well her features look just like a cream leg bar. So mixing a dark brown egg layer and blue makes her the Olive egger she is.
Update on my little olive egger. She laid her first egg about two days ago, and another today! Both super tiny and not green!I’d actually be more inclined to guess Polish mix.
All shall be determined by egg color.
Definitely get bigger. First eggs are always incredibly small.Awesome! Do you think her eggs will stay small or will they get bigger as she ages?
Maybe a cuckoo maran and French black copper maran being that both types have feathered legs. Copper marans have the copper tint on their necks while the cuckoo maran has the barring genes explaining the black and white.Hi, was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what my little 10 week old olive egger rooster would be crossed with. I absolutely love him and he has the funniest little personality, but would love to know what breeds he might be! He is black and white but has started getting bits of gold/red on him, and has very fluffy feet tooView attachment 2877980View attachment 2877982View attachment 2877981
