What breed is my pigeon?

So i’m new to pigeons. Last Saturday we picked up this little guy from the shelter. Obviously a juvenile because of the little squeaks he makes but it’s super super super friendly. I just want to know what breed do you guys think he is? I had someone say they thought he was a street pigeon but he’s obviously hand raised and I would assume it’s hard to do that with a street pigeon.

Its probably a feral pigeon. Or street pigeon as some may call them. They are from racing pigeons that have either got lost or been abandoned then breed. At this young age they are quite tame and reasonably easy to handle. If it has been handled alot then it will imprint on you and will become super tame. Do you plan on keeping it alone or getting another?

Ohhh that’s what a street pigeon is. I plan on keeping him alone, every time i’m home i take it out to sit with me. He just sits on my shoulder or waddles around and does whatever he wants.
